ANKARA SHOE AND ITS GLOBAL MAGIC

Ankara shoes are gaining popularity in Africa and the outside world like the USA and Britain. The funkiness and leisurely prints of 'the African print fabric answers the better part of that question. However, the comfy and the africanness the ankara shoes bring is unimaginable.
In making the ankara shoes just like all other types, rules must be adhered to. The color- in this case the print and the type of the fabric, the wearer's size of feet, shape and the preference. They may like stiletto heels, jelly, moccasin, Loafers etc.All these must be factored in.
You must also note that on average, the foot of an ordinary male is typically 15.3% of his height, however this will differ slightly due to lifestyle, race and geography.
I made a number of African fabric shoes in June July time last year and I must confess it was for the fun of it. However, my first ankara footwear attracted a number of admirers a lot more that scornful onlookers.  I had broken the assumed fashion law. The fabric of my choice for the footwear was blue, kelly green prints. the suit was a single breast forest-green and 'kitenge-chinese collared white shirt. This to 9me was awesome for office.
The net effect of "ankara Law' was calls and emails of clients which thronged our desk. The store now stocks these shoes and customizes to suit customers' desire. This is magical.
It doesn't suffice without the mention of other magical  benefits  of these shoes>>>>>>>
Away from the imagination that  they wear out easily, the ankara shoes are actually durable, to be precise, the philian made.
They are easy to clean
They are odorless as the whole of it is clothe
They are easy to match thanks to multiple prints
They are quite affordable. They go for between Kes 1200-3000 only
They represent the footprints of Africa.
Customers orders in display
break the assumed Fashion Law today

A walk in Africa with Theo

Dec 2015
My son Theo turns 4 years on the day of this photo. Adorned in African fabric and colors, they take a walk in the street of Nairobi in a sunny afternoon with his mother, Lilian.
Just on the right hand side of  the Lilian is Awino. Theo and Lilian's hands are clinched together as they take a saunter down the street. They are not dressed unless its Kitenge, the face of African Fabric, the fashion and style that defines us.
We all have to be proud of our continent, our color and our way of life.
Back home I waited  calmly for the beautiful people to arrive. I couldn't do without the African touch in my shirt and pants.

I was composing this poem as they came

My fingers linger on screen so keen
Like the steps of yo feet in the street
Yo eyes see the blue sea we will swim
Bring no whim, lets break the barrier
Kutenda ni kitenge....sasa  tumetenga .
The O is Theo O give to Okech.

Look Good without robbing the Bank

Hello and welcome back to my blog..... It becomes very hard for most gentlemen to acknowledge their wardrobe elegance until few complements come along. As it may be one of the ways to actually impart confidence in the wearer, s/he still have to keep it simple and cheaper.
A simple Italian non plaited pants that are fitting and white in color worn with black shirt + black light pointed boots  brings irresistible taste of a formal gentleman. trust me this is so simple and affordable but so expensive in the face of viewers.
Lets get down to cost: (exclusive of other accessories)
White pant: Kes 1300
Black shirt: Kes 1300
Boots         Kes 1800-3000
Total(the least) Kes 4400
Congrats @ only Kes 4400 you are tailor-made to look fabulous

The other  awesome less costly-elegant and comfortable wear comes with a pair of white khaki + zip neck African print. Off office it works with either white loafers or rubbers as i this case.

UNITED BY FABRIC:Nigerian meets a Kenyan 'sister'

What is magic to the world is that everybody has at least a look-alike sister or brother. Thanks to media for the magical  re-union of search individuals. #Oge Okoye, a gorgeous Nigerian actor found her look-alike in Kenyan based upcoming fashion designer and model #Lilian Akinyi.

These two  siblings from different worlds share the following similarities
They both have skinny oval shaped faces
They are both tall about 5"9
They both have heart shaped hips
They are both trendy in fashion
They both fancy teddy bears
Miss Oge Okoye and her younger 'sister' Lilian Akinyi would walk in the streets of any city in the world and either of their parents would be blamed for this similarity. What is amazing is that they have never come any closer to each other.

THE MAGIC OF AFRICAN LOVE LIES IN OUR FABRIC

For many years we (Africans) have borrowed stylish fashion from the west. Not bad.We had not realized that what they have we already got. Time passed by and here we are. Nobody in Africa today wants to step outside the door without the sense of African identity.
wafula showing love to Wandeti

Build the house of my love
Abong'o Okech in Love
That we dwelleth me and you
Cover me with garment of bliss
Made from Mama's fabric
So call me Eric from Ulanda,
Its in Africa....Panapo  Afya
With no flaw as Daddy said
It has patterns and prints
Let the tenderness of African wear
Bless my six pac
And pac(kage)  me a life in yo' abdomen
Not all men see your pretty face
But the African fabric is for Eric

Get out once more
African streets got Phil and Lil
Wrapped in unending love story
Smile and laughter  of victory
They say Malenge ni kitenge
Really;

Kitenge chose me and you
Her heart is large enough
No man is left out of her web
Granny and baby smiles
Nowhere but Africa....

BUSTED IN SWAG

I don't teach my son how to leave, what to do and what to become.. maybe because am not a trained teacher or am just too busy for that. life is short .... Live it, be yourself and find one way to inspire the world. I live for my son, I allow him look at me, watch me, learn the way of life.
If i live miserably , so does he. If I live a life of motivation so does he. I swear, I choose the later.
Fashion has become my passion and as such it's been inculcated in him. His DNA can read #fashion.
I just realized  he's in competition, stiff competition against me and the world and so I compiled these photos>>>>

KILL IT WITH KITENGE

Dress is not a dress unless it serves the purpose of the wearer. The wear also defines the wearer in all cases. this therefore means that you have to choose the fabric texture, color or pattern, quality and design that fits every occasion in your life.
Is anyone comfortable with one cloth type? the answer is a BOLD no. I therefore show you why no African family should not survive without Kitenge wears in there wardrobes.

WHEN YOU ARE RICH.......

Every morning I go to the bank
Coz I fear Elnino sweeping river bank
So I get on top of the rank
All girls say me be the hunk
Excess water lily order for the tank
You don’t need to sunk – never be funk
Thank God you are rich never be drunk
Leme be frank with you avoid all the junk
Oooh don’t yank, keep it sank
Ooops! Breath in.. Did I just spank?

I’ll bank in Spain again and again
Even though Lily got no pain
Abong’o met Jesus so he’s born again
Am not poor that is for certain
There’s no fear boy, wait for the gain after pain
Try to land on that ground so plain
Yark.. ‘tis you …..you lost weight like Allain
Don’t worry boy you will regain
This is the end,  pull down the curtain
Brains with cocaine will never drain
You run uphill on the mountain
For what reason? Yes baby to pray for the rain

At the end monies in the bank will remain

FELIX KIPRONO SECURES A CHANCE TO GREET "MALIYAH OBAMAH".See His name in Dinner list

Great opportunities rarely came our ways and if and when they do everyone expects us to seize and not let go. President Obama is coming to Kenya... the land in which his father was born, where he dearly holds in his heart. This is the same Land Felix Kiprono was born.
President Obama recognizes Kiprono at least by name. He is likely to travel with his adorable daughter Malia. Am talking about Miles away from Kenya to bring her elder daughter so closer to Kenyan ambitious boy- Kiprono

Reclining in his living room from this Friday the 24th upon arrival of Obama and his family, Kiprono will get a chance till 26th for the media will help him a great deal by filming and airing Malia Obama.

Good riddance Kip.

GUSII GUYS ALSO ROCK.....Look at "KANYE O. WEST"

From Masimba - an ever green non populated area reposing at the south east of Kisii town in Kenya, you'd hardly see refined, westernized and cultured Gusii boy in what looks like guci suits, Boss or Philian collection Blazer. At least not for the ones you see around.
One man stands out and puts Kisii (to be specific Masimba) in the world map - Wikipedia.
Kanye OMARI West, as the name suggest, left Kenya and headed west, some place in Chicago, Illinois. thus the name 'West".

If you thought no Gusii guy rocks then you are blind-folded. Kim Kardashian aint blind to have seen 'West'...Maybe if he lived his life in Kenya, he could have opened Corazon Kwaboka's eyes to see the beauty of his closet.
See the photos below.

BOYS TO MEN: Reasons why you need your son "Swagger-ful"

Flashing back to 1985's Boys II men American vocal group, one noticeable thing is their dressing swagger. They dangled bow ties and a characteristic caps that growing boys 'bought' into their youthful culture.
It is becoming a phenomenon for young parents to fit their sons into sizable and fashionable dressing. One such mother is not left out of the boys II men swagger.
Visiting Lilian at her home meant a glimmering smile as she exposes her styled son to the glare of 'World' camera. She explains to me the need to keep your little sons at the brim of style.
Lilian made reference to the 1985 R&B quartet which warmed my heart.

  • It is a savoring relief to see your handsome son grow from boyhood with fashion. It earns you respect.
  • The world where we live in welcomes and tries to identify with good.... Make your sons smart with swag. They wont disappoint.
  • Smart boys command authority amongst their peers
  • They are the estate darling for all female human being thus much love for the mom.

Lilian smiles as son poses for the camera

  • Style and swag boost kids confidence just like in any man. This enhances school academic performance in yo' kid.

I really feel inside me the questions you are asking. The panic inside yo' heart can be summed up in one phrase: WHERE CAN MY SON BE FITTED?

You are answered; Lilian and son are tailored at the PHILIAN FASHION DESIGNS- Nairobi Kenya
